There are no restrictions on visiting hours at Alameda Hospital. If there is a reason why this cannot happen, the physician and nurses will clearly communicate the reasons. Ultimately, you and your family are in charge of your care. Your time with family is most important and is conducive to healing.
The hospital cafeteria is located on the first floor of the East Building. Guests are welcome to visit the cafeteria from 7 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. on weekdays. The cafeteria is closed on holidays and weekends.
A 24-hour vending machine snack shop is located on the first floor near the main lobby past the elevators. Microwave ovens are available in the cafeteria and the snack shop.
The Alameda Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary operates the Gift Shop near the main lobby on the first floor across from the elevators. The Gift Shop sells books, cards, gifts, snacks, jewelry and other items. Gift Shop proceeds are donated to the Hospital for the purchase of needed medical equipment.
VISITOR PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION
Alameda Hospital offers complimentary assisted parking in the main visitor parking lot. The entrance is located on Willow Street. For information on public transportation options, visit the AC Transit and BART websites.
