Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is one of several advanced treatment methods offered by the Center for Advanced Wound Care. In short, HBOT allows for a 10 times increase in plasma oxygen concentration, thereby reducing swelling and discomfort while also accelerating the wound healing process.
Many different types of hard-to-treat wounds can benefit from HBOT, including non-healing bone and skin infections, compromised skin grafts, crush injuries, and more. Our team of health care professionals can determine if HBOT is an appropriate treatment for your type of wound or condition.
